Goodwater Vineyard and Farm

Goodwater Farm and Vineyard is family-run agriculture at its best. Located in the East Tennessee in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, we are surrounded by scenic mountains, pristine rivers and thriving mountain culture.

Goodwater Farms and Vineyard is owned and run by the The Hood family which has valued and benefited from the fruits of this rich land for three generations. We invite you to experience it for yourself. Just give us a call. There will soon be a Bed and Breakfast nearby.

We have now finished trellising our 30-acre vineyard and have added a new Cabernet
project which is really flourishing..

We breed and nurture free-range Red Star chickens on a 10-acre pasture near the vineyard. Our cage-free chickens provide us with luscious, large, Grade A eggs which may be purchased locally by contacting Laura at 423-608-4977 or purchased in Asheville, NC: at "The Haywood Road Market", and "The Green Life Grocery". Angora goats and Registered Tennessee Walking Horses are raised at Goodwater Farms and Vineyard. We have Mohair yarn available for your purchase by the skein and also a registered Tennessee Walker Pony for sale. For more information about each of these please click on the appropriate link above.

Local deliveries of purchased eggs can be arranged or you are welcome to
